The Daily Cat App – Support & Info

Welcome to the support page for The Daily Cat App.

Alright, This isn’t really a support page—more of a “here’s how stuff works” page. Because let’s be honest: this app is about cats. If you’re expecting guarantees, warranties, or 24/7 tech support… you’re in the wrong litter box.

That said, here’s everything you need to know:

A sign with the word refresh and a cute black and white kitten peeking over the bottom edge.

1. Getting Cat Pictures

Every time you open the app, a fresh cat picture appears. That’s it. No scrolling, no swiping, no weird algorithms. Just one cat. One moment. One whiskered miracle.
If you’d like to see another? Press the refresh button.

If you don’t see a cat, make sure you’re connected to the internet.

The cats don’t show up without it. They're shy like that.

2. Sharing a Cat Picture

See a cat you love? Tap the Share button.

You can send it via text, email, AirDrop, social media—however you want to spread the feline joy.

3. Adding to Favorites

There’s a button under the cats. It says “Add To Favorites”

Tap it to save that glorious creature to your Favorites. You'll hear a satisfying *ding* (not really, but it’ll feel good).

4. Managing Favorites

Tap the Favorites button to see every cat you've ever loved (digitally, anyway).

You can scroll, tap, share, and just …..relive the magic.

5. Deleting a Picture from Favorites

Inside your Favorites list, tap the “X” icon in the upper left of the image you want to remove.

This is permanent, so be sure—because once they're gone, they're gone. No take-backs.However, you will get a warning.

6. Sharing a Favorite

Found the perfect cat in your saved stash? Open the image from Favorites and hit the Share button in the lower left hand corner.

You can make someone’s day better in two taps.

7. What Is the Cat Scan?

Okay, here's the techy part… simplified down to its chewy center:

The Cat Scan isn't for finding more cats—sorry.

It's actually a network tool built into the app. When you run a scan, the app checks devices that are connected to your Wi-Fi. It’ll show you things like smart TVs, phones, laptops, or mystery boxes you forgot were plugged in.

How does it work?
- The app pings every device on your local network.
- It looks for common services (like websites, remote desktop tools, etc.).
- Then it lists everything it finds in a neat little table.

Why would you want this?
- To make sure no one’s freeloading off your Wi-Fi.
- To see what's hogging your bandwidth.
- To feel like a tech wizard without actually being one.

It doesn’t hack, it doesn’t break anything, doesn’t leave anything behind, and it doesn’t store or share your info. It just scans, shows results, and lets you feel powerful.

Still Have Questions?

This app is built with love, curiosity, and zero promises. If something goes weird, feel free to try turning it off and on again.

Start the App again, or you can try to close the app, and go find a real cat..
